Microsoft’s Tossup App Targets Friend Collaboration Management

Microsoft has released a new free app called Tossup.  The app is targeted at socially connected friends who have difficulty making plans because of constantly changing schedules, distributed social networks and different modes of communication.

Tossup is one of the latest projects to emerge from Microsoft Garage, the company’s program which works something like an internal accelerator at Microsoft, allowing employees and teams to turn their ideas into real-world projects, many of them being cross-platform mobile apps. Recent Garage releases have included things like social apps for trip tracking or seeingwhat people are chatting about nearby, Android lockscreens, an alternative mobile keyboardfor Excel users, an Android Wear search app, news and weather apps, games, and much more.

Available for Android and iOS, the app enables friends to pose questions such as “Where should we go for dinner?” and gather votes, feedback and comments in a single place.
